THREE MEN, aged between 20 and 40, have been arrested following seven raids on private houses located in Olhão and Faro, suspected of drug dealing in bars and nightclubs across the Algarve.
The arrests came following an investigation, which lasted several months, carried out by the PSP through its criminal investigation department. During the raids, police seized approximately 1,750 doses of cocaine, 3,500 doses of heroin, 2,000 ecstasy pills, 5,000 doses of hashish and around 8,000 euros in cash. A pair of precision scales, a handgun and various mobile phones were also confiscated.
The men recently appeared in court for a first hearing at which the judge ordered they be placed in prison to await trial.
