A number of residents and holiday home owners have complained about loud music from a new nightclub, Baesuris, near Altura in Castro Marim.
They say the music goes on from 11pm to 6am and that people using the club leave garbage, park on private land and insult people who live in the area.
According to Diário de Notícias newspaper, management at the nightclub, which is open until the end of this month, has apologised and promised that in 2011 they will correct the situation.
