A series of five night walks along the trails of the Via Algarviana, in the municipality of Loulé, is being promoted by the Almargem environmental association and will be taking place between August 17 and 21, starting at 7.30pm.
The leisurely walks will begin at the Loulé railway station and end at Ameixial, incorporating a 63.6km route. However, participants can join the walkers on one night only if they do not wish to complete the whole course.
Torches, comfortable clothing/footwear and water are essential accessories.
The event, entitled ‘5 Noites/5 Trilhos’, is being organised in conjunction with Loulé municipal authority and Casa da Cultura de Loulé.
Participation in each walk is limited to 45 people and costs €8 per person.
