The last round of Portimão and Alvor’s Friday cultural night time walks is taking place this month.
The Alvor walk (August 11) focuses on the fishing village’s Islamic heritage, taking in some buildings “around 1,000 years old,” while the Portimão walk (August 18) leads visitors through “urban landscapes that give the town its personality”.
All walks begin at 9pm.
