LOULÉ CÂMARA has recruited three night guards to patrol in Quarteira and Loulé, after the responsibility for security was transferred from the Civil Government to the Câmara in December.
“At a time when the country is experiencing difficulties with security, the creation of night guards is of special importance as an alternative to other means of making the population safe,” said Seruca Emídio, President of Loulé Câmara.
After a meeting with the representatives of the parish councils and the GNR, it was decided that the new guards will patrol the Freguesias of Quarteira, São Sebastião and São Clemente.
