A TRAINING camp for one of the UK’s top rugby league sides has been overshadowed by allegations of vandalism against members of the party.
The Huddersfield Giants have been training at Browns Sports and Leisure Club in Vilamoura this week.
The incident took place at the weekend, while they were enjoying a night out in Vilamoura.
British Consul to the Algarve confirmed to The Resident that a British citizen was arrested.
Huddersfield Giants declined to comment.
Alan Brown, owner of the leisure club said: “We have had between 30 and 40 sports teams staying here and there have been no problems before.”
