The next Rock in Rio Lisboa music festival, which is scheduled for June next year, is to take place not in Parque da Bela Vista as in past editions but in the new Parque Tejo Trancão, which in August hosted World Youth Day – the mass Roman Catholic event attended by Pope Francis. The 10th Rock in Rio Lisboa, which will mark the 20th anniversary of this popular festival – originally from Brazil – in Portugal, is scheduled to take place over two weekends, on June 15, 16, 22 and 23, with UK artist Ed Sheeran among performers already confirmed.
