FOLLOWING A tradition of some years, Hotel Montechoro in Albufeira has, once again, conjured up a full programme of festivities to celebrate the New Year.
As well as a special menu that includes lobster and beef medallions Café de Paris style, guests will be entertained by well-known Portuguese singer and guitarist Paco Bandeira. Two other musical groups, Orquestra de Jaime Baptista and Banda de Carlos Lã, will also perform, guaranteeing that the party will continue well into the small hours.
Various packages are available, including accommodation, breakfast buffet, gala dinner with entertainment, evening meal and brunch on January 1, from 374 euros for a double room (one night) to 471 euros (three nights). For those wishing to book for the dinner and show only, the price is 160 euros per person and 100 euros for children under 12. Those booking today (December 9) will receive a 15 per cent discount when paying a 25 per cent deposit.
