Administrative health professional at the inner city Amadora-Sintra hospital have started a 12-day work-to-rule over overtime today, scheduled to continue to May 5. The objective is to force management to apply a ‘collective labour agreement, that values staff’, explain reports. Taking part are technical and operational assistants, senior diagnostic and therapeutic technicians and public administration workers. Luís Grabulho, from the union of administrative health professionals, says workers at the hospital are being disadvantaged compared to colleagues in the rest of the country.
