Estômbar’s Quinta dos Vales winery has announced that it will hold its popular ‘Open Door’ event on April 10 (Sunday) between 11am and 7pm.
Wine will, of course, be the main attraction, with Quinta dos Vales presenting “several of its new white and rosé wines, which are already bottled and labelled, but also the newest reds which will be released this year”.
There will also be a crafts fair, with some artisans creating pieces ‘in situ’, as well as musical performances, horse and bird shows and a hairstyling presentation.
Admission to the ‘Open Door’ is free and all are welcome. The event is usually visited by thousands, especially wine lovers.
This will be the only ‘Open Door’ event of 2016. Though it is usually held twice a year, the Autumn ‘Open Door’ will be replaced with a “different type of event, exclusively focused on music, gastronomy and wine”.
