Charity helps desperate families in need

A new website has been launched by the Algarve Network for Families in Need, a charity providing vital help to families in need across the region.

The website is structured into several sections, starting with the home page where the charity’s latest news is shared.

There is also an ‘About us’ section, divided into three categories – ‘How we got here’, ‘… and now!’ and ‘Meet our Team’. This section tells the story of how ANFN was created and how it has developed over the years, and also provides some background information on the team behind the project

Those looking to donate to the cause can visit the ‘Bank/PayPal’ section, where ANFN is also expecting to post a list of goods donated, while the ‘Articles’ section is where ANFN will share articles published about the charity in the press.

Last but not least, the ‘Partners’ page features information on all the companies and organisations that the charity works with.

ANFN began as an informal group around 10 years ago, in the Albufeira area, in response to the poverty suffered by many families in the Algarve who really struggled to buy the essentials for everyday life.
