Carvoeiro is to get a new viewpoint overlooking the beach.
Under construction above the town’s public washhouse and toilets, the area should be completed by August 28, but benches and shading are not expected before September.
The new facility, costing around €50,000, has been designed to give people a “place to enjoy the wonderful view over the beach”.
