New unemployment plan
THE GOVERNMENT last week approved a new unemployment benefit regime whereby those eligible will be subject to a Personal Employment Plan. Part of this will mean that those receiving benefits will have to prove they are actively available and seeking work.A number of stricter criteria have been set out to determine who is accepting and refusing work.
