A seminar to discuss the new regime for tourist developments which is soon to be implemented in the country is taking place today (Friday) at Faro Municipal Library from 9.45am.
The deadline for tourist complexes to alter their status according to the new regulations in the Juridical Regime for Tourist Developments (Regime Jurídico dos Empreendimentos Turísticos – RJET) is fast approaching, says law firm João Nabais & Associados, one of the organisers of the event, along with the Regional Tourism Board and Faro Câmara.
The new regulations aim to make it easier for tourist accommodations to abide by the law and to protect users of these establishments.
