LOULÉ CÂMARA president Seruca Emídio inaugurated a new tourist information point in Almancil on November 7.
“In an area such as this, where tourism is so important, it was imperative to create a tourism point. It would have been opened earlier but we wanted to ensure the best position possible for it first,” said Seruca Emídio.
It is hoped that the information point will serve tourists staying and visiting the luxury resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale de Lobo and help to inform both foreign and national visitors to the other attractions in the municipality, especially those inland.
The new tourist facility is easy to find as it is located next to the Bombeiros station in Almancil on Rua de Vale Formoso.
It is open daily during the week and if deemed necessary will be opened on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer months.
