Lagoa Câmara has spent in excess of €40,000 on equipping the Jacinto Correia municipal sports pavilion with a new interchangeable playing surface.
The facility, which was inaugurated in 1989, has been the venue for successful volley, basket and handball as well as five-a-side tournaments at national and international levels in the past. It has now added the ability to stage gymnastics, badminton, roller hockey and various other skating discipline events in the near future.
