Low cost Austrian airline Flyniki will be operating a service to Faro during the coming winter season.
The route will operate each Sunday from Vienna to Jerez and then on to Faro.
It begins on September 25 and runs until November 27 and then again between February 5, 2012 and April 29, 2012.
A spokesman from the Algarve Tourism Association said: “This route reaffirms the Algarve as a leading destination and shows how we are investing in attracting new passengers especially in the golf, senior tourism and health and welfare markets.”
