Work is to begin on upgrading the road network in the Quarteira area, with an investment of more than 2.5 million euros being designated to the building of a new link road.
Works will be carried out on a stretch of road more than one kilometre long and is set to include three roundabouts linking the EN 396 to the EM 527 (the Almancil to Quarteira road).
Loulé Câmara expect the work on the new road to be completed in the next 16 months.
