A new road linking the E.B. 2.3 Poeta Bernardo de Passos school and the Parque Escolar roundabout in São Brás de Alportel will officially open tomorrow (September 18) at 5.30pm.
According to the council, “the road was built especially for the children and teens who must make their way to school on a daily basis”.
The construction project was in the hands of José de Sousa Barros & Filhos Lda and cost around €158,000 – 65% of which was covered by EU funding.
