New restaurant on Armona Island

After being closed for two years, the restaurant A Três located on the picturesque island of Armona has reopened to the public under the management of Pam and Zé Pardo.

The couple ran the successful Restaurante Fonte Nova in Pechão but have moved to the island to offer a new dining choice and spectacular views from the beach front terrace.

Pam Pardo, originally from Manchester, said: “Within a month of opening, the restaurant is surpassing all of our expectations.”

Pam, whose grandsons Bill and Fred Green are avid Olhanense supporters and travel from Manchester for special games, fell in love with the island the first time she saw it.

“My husband Zé has created some wonderful dishes and we have found that the prawns in whisky sauce and pork fillet in black pepper sauce are some of the best sellers,” she said.
