A new general manager has been appointed for Martinhal, a luxury resort near Sagres, which is due to be inaugurated in April next year.
Dutch resident Rob Veltman, who has lived in Portugal since 1992, was general manager of the five-star Crowne Plaza Hotel in Lisbon and the Casino Park Resort Hotel and Casino in Madeira, among others, prior to this appointment.
Chitra Stern from Martinhal Resort said: “We are confident that Rob’s vast experience coupled with a profound knowledge of the Portuguese market and our target market will be very beneficial to the Martinhal Resort.”
