Gallinari Hair and Beauty reopened for business on January 8 in new premises following the destruction of the old salon during flooding at the end of September 2008.
“A tidal wave of sewage and water hit the old shop, destroying everything and washing away all the stock and equipment,” said Liza Gallinari.
“We now, however, have opened in lovely new premises with easy parking and a view from the main road despite having no help in funding from Albufeira Câmara.”
The new salon is located in Parque da Corcovada in Albufeira and will be holding an official opening on January 28.
