Olhanense are delighted to have secured the loan of two highly rated Porto players. Goalkeeper Hugo Ventura was a firm favourite of the fans when he was on loan in 2009/10. Last season Ventura was loaned to Portimonense, where he had an outstanding campaign that saw him selected as third choice keeper for the Portugal national side.
Central defender André Pinto, who has international honours at U23 level, is a major acquisition and will play an important role as he links up with Mauricio.
João Gonçlaves may also be making a welcome return on loan from Sporting. New manager Domingos Paciência has not included him in his announced squad so the popular full-back who played 56 games over the previous three seasons for Olhanense could soon be wearing the red & black striped shirt again.
