TWO UNDERGROUND car parks are to be created in Lagos with a capacity for 890 vehicles. The new parking is set to cost 12.2 million euros.
Work has begun on the first of the car parks and it is planned to be completed by summer 2009. The second of the areas will be situated on the river front in Lagos and will be finished at the end of 2009. Lagos is a historical city and the excavation of the sites is being monitored by archaeologists at all times so any artefacts found can be preserved.
