Lagoa’s recently-inaugurated outdoor exercise area is already proving successful, attracting “scores of joggers”, says the local parish union.
“It has already been used by many joggers and walkers who choose the cooler late afternoon temperature to get fit either on their own or with friends and family.”
Comprising a 1,500-metre running track and two ‘outdoor’ gyms with exercise equipment, the area is located near Vale de Deus at the western entrance to the town, near Jumbo supermarket.
