A new baby Capuchin Monkey was welcomed at the Lagos Zoo last week.
The recent family member (pictured) has now been introduced to a community of over two dozen resident Capuchin Monkeys of the zoo.
Leader of the pack ‘Bruce’, who is father to the newly born, chooses which females to mate with and is father to almost all of the new offspring.
Capuchin Monkey’s are a popular attraction at the Lagos Zoo, and as intelligent, curious animals, the species remain as one of the most entertaining animals living there.
