New Lidl store opens next to Forum Algarve

The supermarket chain, which saw an investment of €7 million, has created 20 new jobs with the opening of its latest store in Faro.

Benefiting from its proximity to the Forum Algarve, the new Lidl store was designed to offer its customers the best daily and weekly shopping experience.

The new store’s team of 20 professionals is on hand to help customers in their daily lives.

According to the supermarket chain, “Here, they will find a varied offer of food and non-food products, of maximum quality at the best price, enjoy a differentiating shopping experience, thanks to an excellent location, innovative and modern design, with wide corridors and glass panelling that allow for greater luminosity indoors”.

Dozens of varieties of fresh bread and pastries, national fruits and vegetables, freshly squeezed orange juice, and bacalhau are just some of the options available at the new store.

As for the non-food offer, the store features Parkside tools, textiles, kitchen utensils and many other new products to help simplify customer’s daily lives.

With sustainability in mind, the store has installed solar panels and LED lighting. It also offers the possibility to charge electric vehicles ultra-fast – charging almost 80 per cent of a battery in just 30 minutes – at very good prices.
