Portuguese artist Tina Gonçalves, who recently opened the ZonArt gallery in Lagos, has invited English painters Roger Green and Cliff Martin to exhibit their work alongside her own paintings in the first group show to be held at the gallery.
Both Roger Green and Cliff Martin have lived and worked in the Algarve for more than 20 years and exhibited widely across Portugal.
Roger Green showed some of his works at the British Council in Lisbon in 1997 and has also exhibited in London, Vienna and Linz in Austria.
Tina Gonçalves is well known in Portugal and Spain for her versatility of style and she is an expert in stain glass. Since the age of 17, she has shown her work in numerous venues in Iberia and has completed a number of public commissions.
The exhibition, comprising 30 paintings, is due to open on September 30 and will run for one month at the gallery located on Rua Infante de Sagres in Lagos.
