New international food store opens in western Algarve

UNTIL RECENTLY, food lovers living in the western Algarve often found themselves having to drive for up to an hour eastwards in order to source their favourite international products. However, this may no longer be necessary, thanks to the opening of DaVinci, a new speciality food store that has recently opened in Odiáxere.

DaVinci is a small, quality shop selling a range of international food products from Holland, England, Thailand, China and France, as well as fresh cheeses, truffles and even Iranian caviar. There is also a good selection of wines from all over the world.

The shop, run by Pauline Ottenhoff and David van Oosten, is located opposite the windmill at Largo da Alegria in Odiáxere. For more information, call 282 767 460.
