CONSTRUCTION OF a five star hotel in Aljezur, owned by a Portuguese company, could begin next year.
Manuel Marreiros, President of Aljezur Câmara, said: “The project is approved and licensed for the Canal, a tourism area. It will be a five star hotel with 200 beds.”
Originally owned by a German company, the hotel project has been bought by an unknown Portuguese company and will now be set in 200 hectares of land. “Authorisation is being sought to change the location of the hotel but still within the tourism area and to present a new architectural project” said Manuel Marreiros.
