PLANS ARE in place for the construction of an 80-room, three star hotel at Faro airport on available space to the north of the car parks.
Although negotiations with the airport and Air Navigation (ANA) service are in their latter stages, no date has been set for work to start as details have yet to be finalised
Patrícia Perpétuo, a representative from the Azorean company, Sousa Lima, the company who has put forward the hotel proposal, said: “It is too early to talk about dates, but it is true that we are negotiating with ANA”.
Director of Faro airport,Correia Mendes confirmed that there was a proposal from the group but no contract had been drawn up.
