After changing its meeting place twice in the past year, the Almancil International Rotary Club (AIRC) has announced the new Conrad Algarve Hotel in Quinta do Lago as its permanent home.
AIRC President Volker Biebesheimer said: “The hotel is part of the Conrad Hotels & Resorts portfolio – one of Hilton Worldwide’s luxury brands – and is perfect for our needs in terms of facilities and location within the Almancil area.”
“The Algarve is a popular holiday destination and since the club was chartered six years ago, we have received Rotarian visitors and their guests from all over the world and I’m looking forward to welcoming many more to this prestigious venue.”
The Conrad Hotel Manager Joachim Hartl said: “I am absolutely delighted to be able to welcome and to host the club here at the Conrad Algarve.
“We would like the Conrad Algarve to become the venue for social activities in the Algarve, and having the opportunity to partner up with the Almancil International Rotary Club is a true pleasure.”
The first meeting at the Conrad will be on October 3 at 7.30pm. Rotary visitors and their guests are welcome as are applications from prospective new members.
