The old Finanças building in Alcoutim, in the far east of the Algarve, is being remodelled into a new GNR police station at a cost of more than 600,000 Euros.
According to Alcoutim Câmara, which is responsible for the work, “the current GNR police station lacks suitable conditions for officers.”
The new premises, granted by the Câmara, will enable increased functionality and operability for the GNR force.
