Monchique Mayor Rui André joined the director of Arte Algarve, Rolf Osang, in the opening of the new Galeria Santo António art gallery in Monchique on February 12.
Guests at the opening were able to view an exhibition of work by Xico Fran and Cony Welcker, which is due to run until March 11.
The next exhibition, from March 12, will see paintings by Manuela Canecon and sculptures by Udo Ulrich.
The gallery is open on Tuesdays between 12pm and 7pm and from Wednesdays to Fridays from 12pm to 4pm. For further information, please call 282 913 130.
