Three new digital brochures encouraging residents and visitors to explore the region’s nature parks have been launched by the Algarve’s tourism board (RTA).
Ria Formosa Natural Park, Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo António Nature Reserve and the Natural Park of the South-western Alentejo and Costa Vicentina are the three areas to be discovered.
“Those seeking to enjoy the Algarve and explore new locations and natural corners of the region, be it during a hike, boat trip or bicycle ride, will find these guides useful for their interesting content, maps with optional paths, points of interest in each park, as well as details on the ecosystems, habitats, and fauna and flora that can be observed,” says RTA in a statement to the press.
The guides are available online at visitalgarve.pt in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French by clicking multimedia followed by downloads. Physical copies will be available soon at regional tourism offices.
