In order to meet the needs of the growing number of young families in Albufeira, a new crèche has just opened in the borough by Civil Governor of the Faro District, António Pina.
With a capacity for 99 children, the new Crèche de Vales Pedras – Os Amendoinhas, represents an investment by the council of almost 800,000 euros. It will be operated by the Fundação António Silva Leal, following an agreement signed with Albufeira Câmara, and is located at Colégio de Montechoro, known as O Lápis.
