Animal welfare association PRAVI, Support Project for Defenceless Victims, has opened a charity shop in São Brás de Alportel.
A spokesman for PRAVI said: “People can donate items they have at home and no longer use. The donations will be placed in the shop for sale and the income will be used for the sterilisation of abandoned animals.”
The shop, which is near the market square, will be open Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
