The good old British banger was proving very popular when Tavira’s new English-style butchers Carnedale Talho opened last Friday.
The public were keen to sample the wide variety of British sausages and cheeses as well as casting their eyes over succulent cuts of meat.
Keith Dale told the Algarve Resident: “We’ve received numerous compliments and the Welsh Dragon sausages and mature cheddar cheese have been particularly well received.”
The new butchers shop can be found underneath the arches near Tavira train station.
