Faro is to have a new bus and coach terminal, with more connections to the airport, which will open next to the area adjoining the Hotel Eva, which is used as a car park.
It will replace the private terminal that occupies part of the ground floor of the hotel building and will receive coaches and buses from all of the country’s transport companies. The plan, which comes into operation within the next three months, was announced by Faro Mayor Macário Correia in a press and radio statement.
He revealed that the terminal will operate with a greater number of transport companies and with a much broader timetable.
