New bus station

Lisbon’s bus station, located for six years in Arco do Cego, has moved to Sete Rios. The new terminal is expected to serve more than 6,000 passengers and 200 buses daily. It will occupy a 22,000 hectare area and will also offer parking spaces for private vehicles. All incoming vehicles will have to enter via Avenida das Forças Armadas in front of the Zoological Garden. The bus station, which opened on September 22, is housed in temporary accommodation for the time being. The definitive final structure will be completed soon after the conclusion of the Câmara’s detailed plans for Sete Rios.
