Recently-formed Sustainable Homes Algarve has invited guest speaker Chris Barton from the British Portuguese Chamber of Commerce to officially launch its energy efficiency resource for businesses, investors and homeowners.
Sustainable Homes Algarve members include architects, chartered surveyors, building and property managers, building developers, interior designers, low energy lighting specialists, heating and cooling specialists, photovoltaic solar panel design and installation companies, landscape gardeners and master craftsmen in electrical installations and carpentry.
Chairman Anabela Macieira, passive-house architect, said: “We provide a design resource for property developers and investors for both new build and refurbished homes here in the Algarve. Our members are all established businesses located across the region. We can demonstrate how low-energy buildings operate, how they save money and improve wellbeing. Our members are all professionals and respective experts in our fields who came together because each of us has dedicated our business to best practice in energy efficient products and services.”
The launch event will take place at the Conrad Algarve in Quinta do Lago on Monday, February 3 at 10.30am.
