New App will locate “nearest bifana or stew”

A new App designed to help people find “all things related to Latin cultures”, including the nearest places to buy “bifanas (pork sandwiches) and stews”, is going to be launched in France by a group of Portuguese-French entrepreneurs on March 7.

Entitled ‘Reflex Latino’, the App is designed as a tool for both French people “becoming more interested in the cultures of Portugal, Spain, Italy and Brazil”, as well as for Latin people living in France who miss home cooking and culture.

The App will be “easy to use”, with categories including “restaurants, food and leisure”.

It will also give Portuguese companies a chance to sell in France, using the App as a means to reach the country’s Latin market.

To begin with, the App will only be available in French, but a Portuguese version is promised soon, with more versions a possibility. Plans are to eventually expand to other territories.

The project is the brainchild of Portuguese-French businessmen Bruno António, head of 2903 International Group, and Philippe Mendes, in charge of Mediatree.

‘Reflex Latino’ will be available for free download from Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
