Every Thursday in Almancil, local farmers and artisans will be showcasing their products at the Mercado de Produtores de Almancil.
The initiative, organised by Loulé council in partnership with Almancil parish council and municipal companies Infraquinta and Infralobo, sees dozens of tradespeople coming together to sell a variety of products, from handicraft to fruit and vegetables. “Products must be locally grown or handmade,” said the council.
The first market took place on August 12 and both tradespeople and visitors were delighted with the outcome.
The Mercado de Produtores de Almancil is held near the ASCA headquarters every Thursday from 7.30am to 1pm.
