Business Network Algarve and the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce from the UK joined forces to organise a networking event at Vila Vita Parc’s Biergarten on Friday April 20.
Around 80 people of various nationalities attended the lunch, which Kathryn Ayres-Rouse, founder of Business Network Algarve (BNA), said was an opportunity to join together the two networking groups.
She said: “The event proved very successful when we organised it last year and so we decided to create an annual event with the two networking groups.”
The event provided guests with the chance to discuss current market conditions as well as making new contacts and generating new business.
“We are finding that more and more people are discovering the benefits of networking and word of mouth, and face-to-face meetings are the lifeblood of doing business in the Algarve,” said Kathryn Ayres-Rouse.
The next BNA lunch will be at Gisela’s restaurant in the Vale do Lobo ‘Praça’ on Friday, May 18.
