Online film streaming service Netflix will be launching in Portugal next year, as part of the American company’s “global expansion plans”.
The news came shortly after Netflix president and co-founder Reed Hastings confirmed that the live streaming service will be launching in Spain in four months time.
Netflix is an online service that offers clients a long list of movies and TV programmes for a monthly fee.
In Spain, the subscription fee is expected to be €8 – similar to that charged in France and Germany.
