Net tightens on BES Angola’s “lost” €4.2 billion

As the forensic audit analysing alleged irregularities at former Banco Espírito Santo is due to report to the Bank of Portugal next week, news comes of a list of people identified as being beneficiaries of the €4.2 billion inexplicably “lost” by BES Angola.
According to Correio da Manhã, investigators have tracked the money to 40 Portuguese accounts, held by Portuguese and Angolan nationals in Santander Totta in Lisbon. Investigations continue.
