Budding young Almancil racing driver Tomas Apolonia experienced a memorable opening round to the 2012 Portuguese Karting Championship in Braga recently. Having proven his worth with a third place finish overall last season the top junior overcame all kinds of difficulties to take the final chequered flag ahead of his two most serious rivals.
