Special-needs charity NECI will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a ‘Sarau Solidário’ at Lagos cultural centre on Saturday (January 30) from 5pm.
Students from Lagos music academy (AML) will make a special appearance as part of the entertainments programme that includes several other musical, dance and theatre performances.
Admission is free and open to everyone but reservations must be made (282 788 692).
NECI was created in 1991 by teachers Maria Eduarda Santos (click here) and José Manuel Campos, determined to give their town an association focused on helping the young people with special needs.
One of the association’s most recent accomplishments has been the opening of a residential home in Montinhos da Luz, Lagos (click here).
