Nearly new clothing initiative at BLiP

One of the new innovations for the Better Living in Portugal (BLiP) exhibition this year is the inclusion of a Sustainable and Green section on the first floor.

As part of this new section there will be a collection of vintage fashions on sale, with all proceeds being donated to Madrugada, a charity which supports people with life limiting illnesses.

Everyone in the Algarve can get involved in this initiative which is combining sustainable living ideals with charitable donations, simply by giving good quality new or nearly new fashion items that you no longer need to this great cause.

Items should be clean and if dry cleaned, still have the cleaning label attached. Underwear, swimwear and shoes can only be accepted if new.

Cloths for the sale can be accepted up to and including October 11 at various locations including The Resident Group offices in Lagoa, the Madrugada charity shop in Praia da Luz, Winkworths in Carvoeiro and Quinta do Lago, the PC Centre in Lagos, Absolute Zero at Vale de Lousas Retail park in Alcantarilha and Ibex/Lloyd & Whyte in Boliqueime and Tavira.

BLiP will be held on October 16 and 17 at the ExpoArade centre in Portimão.
