Members of the Naturist Club of the Algarve (CNA) organised a clean up of Barril beach in Tavira, with the President of Tavira Câmara, Macário Correia, leading the way.
Mr Correia showed his dedication to the community as he dressed in shorts and gloves to help members and friends of the CNA to collect rubbish littering the beach. The club collected more than half a tonne of rubbish by the end of the day.
The CNA is promoting the integration of a nudist beach in Vila do Bispo, in the hope that it will be the first beach to allow nudists on a beach that holds a Blue Flag.
